Te Mata / Mangateretere Road Roundabout project is the conversion of a priority cross-roads intersection into a four-legged roundabout for Hastings District Council. The project involved the investigation and reporting (included tethered UAV traffic surveys for traffic counts and to identify road safety issues via AI tools), concept and detailed design of a roundabout on two primary collector roads, accomodating a range of vehicle types while achieving Safe System Outcomes. Our team also prepared the contract documentation, led the procurement phase and are undertaking the MSQA. The roundabout is schedule to be complete by the end of March 2026.
